Kyanite is an aluminum silicate material that is recognizable for its layered, cleaved shapes. These specimens have been coated with a fine layer of the mineral titanium for a dramatic effect that shines deep blue, to purple, orange and yellow. Each specimen is from .5 to 1.5 inches in length, width varies. Each is absolutely unique.
