Refund policy

 

  • All web and in-store purchases, returns, and exchanges will be handled by the Science Museum’s Explore Store. See your order confirmation email for return policies and procedures.
  • Customers have up to 60 days from the date of purchase to return or exchange the products.
    • Proof of purchase is required for a full refund.
    • Returns without proof of purchase will receive a store credit in the amount of the item's sale price.
  • All merchandise returns must be sent postpaid to the Explore Store at the address posted below:

A packing list and a copy of your receipt must be enclosed. If you have additional questions about our return policies, please contact store@smm.org or (651) 221-9414.

  • Returns/exchanges may also be done at the Explore Store. The Science Museum will provide vouchers that will cover up to an hour of parking in the Science Museum ramp.

  • Preorder Policy: Preorders allow customers to reserve items before they are in stock. Because preorders drive our inventory purchases, all preorder sales are final, and we do not offer refunds except in serious or emergency circumstances.

    Preorder items will be shipped as soon as they are available, in the order they were placed.

    By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and accept these terms. We appreciate your support and understanding.
