Edmontosaurus Cast Tooth

Edmontosaurus Cast Tooth

Like all hadrosaurs, Edmontosaurus possessed several hundred teeth arranged layer upon layer in batteries in its mouth. As the animal wore down its teeth while grinding vegetation, it always had spare teeth to keep eating. These large chewing surfaces efficiently processed plants so they could be further broken down in the digestive process.

This cast Edmontosaurus tooth measures 2.75 inches long. This is a cast of the original fossil, research grade in quality polyresin and hand-painted. Colors may vary.
