Triceratops Cast Tooth

Triceratops Cast Tooth

This tooth is a rare find.  Although Triceratops teeth are common, it is rare to find even partial roots or complete crowns. This specimen demonstrates the double-root system of some ceratopsian teeth. In the jaw of the dinosaur, a replacement tooth would have been nestled in between the two roots, waiting to push out the tooth above when it had worn out.

This cast Triceratops tooth measures over 2.5 inches long and features a double root. This is a cast of the original fossil, research grade in quality polyresin and hand-painted. Colors may vary.
