Labradorite is characterized by a unique metallic, iridescent play among colors -- so unique the term for it is labradorescence. Commonly in blues and greens, these exceptional specimens radiate violet and purple, as well as peach, silver and turquoise as angles and lighting are changed. Either of these specimens is a highlight to any collection.
The horizontally-oriented specimen is roughly 3.5 x 1.5 x 3 inches, and 455 grams.
The vertically-oriented specimen is roughly 2.25 x 1.5 x 3.75 inches, and 325 grams.
