Allosaurus had three fingers on each hand, each one of those possessing large meat hook shaped claws perfect for grabbing like a Eagle talon. With potential prey animals including spiky Stegosaurus, giant Camarasaurus and armored Gargoyleosaurus, Allosaurus needed every weapon it could get. Which is also why they hunted in family groups.
This cast of the Allosaurus tooth with root measures 4 inches long. This is a cast of the original fossil, research grade in quality polyresin and hand-painted. Colors may vary.
