Martian meteorite. This is a fragment from a Martian meteorite that was discovered in 2022 in Algeria. Laboratory analysis concluded that it is a "Martian Nakhlite," which is considered to be one of the rarest of all Martian meteorites. It was likely ejected from Mars by an asteroidal impact. This meteorite has been classified and published in the Meteoritical Bulletin, which is an online database of all classified meteorites.
