Triceratops Replica Tooth

Triceratops Replica Tooth

This tooth is a rare find.  Although Triceratops sp. teeth are common, it is rare to find even partial roots or complete crowns.  This specimen demonstrates the double-root system of some ceratopsian teeth.  In the jaw of the dinosaur, a replacement tooth would have been nestled in between the two roots, waiting to push out the tooth above when it had worn out.

This replica Triceratops tooth measures over 2 inches long and features a double root. This is a replica of the original fossil, cast in quality polyresin and hand-painted.
